Gabriel was impressed by his progress and bypassing his original objective, and he could now comfortably wear shorts in the gym without being ridiculed. A couple of months back, after an intense and frustrating leg day routine, Gabriel thought wearing women’s shorts at the gym would make his workout routine easier. See, men’s shorts went down too long, and when doing specific exercises, like squats, lunges, and hip thrusts, they just got in the way of his range of motion. Women’s shorter shorts got rid of these issues and allowed Gabriel to perform his workout annoyance free, but they came with some drawbacks.

Confidently he rolled up to the gym wearing the shorts, only to be ridiculed and mocked by gym members. They’d point out how ridiculous he looked and how shorts like that are for women to show off their impressive legs. It went as far as the owner telling Gabriel he can’t return wearing those shorts because it violated a “shorts policy.” So Gabriel decided to hush them up. Gabriel went by Gabriella, shaving his legs and growing out his hair, bypassing their “shorts policy.” Were there still negative comments? Yes, but they went away when his legs grew, and he began looking, filling them in better.

“Guess women aren’t the only ones who look good in these,” Gabriel thought, snapping a picture. “Might wear these outside of the gym.”
