“Can you please stop taking pictures?” Ollie asked. “I thought you said you’d keep this a secret.”

*Click!* “Oh, I will,” Mandy assured. “I just want to make sure I have some pictures, just in case you miss behave again.”

Ollie snuck out earlier that week to meet up with some friends on a school night after his parents told him no. Unfortunately, Mandy heard the thump in the night and witnessed her brother stumbling in through his window at 2 A.M., threatening to tell their parents if he didn’t volunteer to take her to the lake this weekend. So when Mandy asked later to visit the late to research local wildlife and her parents denied, a not willing Ollie agreed.

When they left for the lake, Mandy handed Ollie a plastic shopping bag and told him to put it on. Confused, he opened it to see a two-piece bikini, a pair of thick sunglasses, and a dirty blonde wig.

“I’m not wearing this.” Ollie dismissed, throwing the bag back in his sister’s face. “This wasn’t part of the deal.”

“Well, it is now, unless you want me to tell mom and dad,” Mandy threatened. “You’ll be grounded, and then you can’t go to the homecoming game!”

Fearing not being able to attend the anticipated Deer River V. Green Meadows showdown, he slipped into the bikini and let Mandy glue on the wig. She didn’t want her brother with her at the park, instead her cooler aunt Bridget.

The day was spent on a rental boat, Bridget catching some rays and Mandy collecting her research. What Bridget didn’t know was the tan lines burning an outline into her skin would be a fascinating story to explain to his friends tomorrow.
