"Rush week was not as much fun as the media portrays it, and Avery and Hyman were learning that quickly. The first few tasks were nothing but humiliation or stupidity. If they fail, this latest one was a mixture of both with legal repercussions: buy alcohol. In a college town, it’s hit or miss whether underaged students can get alcohol illegally, but there was a requirement. Avery and Hyman would have to go to Rose Liquors to buy the drinks, which a college professor owns. If caught, the students will be reported and removed from the university permanently. Avery and Hyman wanted to become part of this fraternity, so they took drastic measures.

They drank a tart potion Avery’s sister provided and transformed into older female students. The body mortifications were painful as their bodies stretched and crunched to form their male bodies into female bodies. Still, after all the pain of transforming, they could pass as 21 with the use of legitimate IDs. Avery and Hyman knew this would be a difficult task; they had never bought alcohol before, more or less been girls, so as they stood awkwardly in the store trying to find the right liquor they caught the store owners attention, and in a good way. Maybe he won’t check their IDs, but he may ask to see them personally in the back room."
