"It was both a blessing and a curse that Alec and his girlfriend Rae could wear each other's clothing. They were both the same size, so it was great when it came to the occasional borrowing of pants and shirts on Rae’s end. This situation was a curse when Rae started asking Alec to try on her clothing when they were at home and wear it around the house because it was “like having a twin sister.”

Alec didn’t mind. Was it a bit embarrassing? Yes, but it made her happy, and it wasn’t the worst thing to do. The clothing was comfortable, and that is all that mattered. Wearing her clothes more often gave Alec insight into gift purchases centered around clothing. He knew how they should fit and what sizes to get that would satisfy Rae.

Putting on her clothing, he went to the local department store and picked her up some jeans. They were on sale after all, and they wore the same size, so easy, right? When he picked up the first pair that looked like it fit and tried it on, he was amazed to see that he couldn’t get it over his butt. If he didn’t get it over his, I surely wouldn’t fit over Rae’s. Laughing, he took a Snapchat picture and sent it to Rae, hoping she would get a laugh out of this blunder. Maybe jean shopping is more complicated than it looks."
