“Yes,” James replied, taking a sip of his wine. “Next thing I knew, I was shorter and facing the opposite way. Before I could react, my body vessel was gone, disappeared into the sea of people.”

“That still doesn’t answer why you’re sitting on my bed wearing that outfit,” Scott asked, trying not staring at James’s new body.

“Because the girl before me was wearing a thick skirt and a fur-coat,” James explained, taking another sip. “Meant for cold weather, and you aren’t exactly keeping this apartment cold with the heat blaring.”

Scott rolled his eyes as James put the wine glass down.

“Do you mind if I shower?” James asked, sliding the bra straps to the side. “I have a new body to explore.”
