They were raised in a total darkness so it immersed with every part of their being making them a Dark Emissary, a being that lives both in a world under the sun and in nothing but shadows, and in order for the darkness to not seep out of them their body is caged in braselets of a moon stone. They are not considered a person but a magical artifact that can observe the threads of fate of every being and in other ways as well be a useful tool to a circle of royal magicians, who also guard a secret that inside all that darkness the Emissary still holds their living soul, denying it a free will
