Description May I introduce? Jedi Padawan Kalem Noor.

He's my most favourite role playing character. For all of you who know the Star Wars d20 system: he's (currently) a 4th level Human Jedi Guardian. The lightsaber he's holding in his hands is the one he'll craft very soon (as part of his Trials of Knighthood).

This picture is the "sequel" to the "Jedi That Was..." picture - I first wanted to play a female Jedi but then found the name Kalem simply cool - that's why I chose to play a guy. Actually, he's my first ever male character. He's the Jedi I always wanted to be since I first saw Star Wars at the age of seven.

May the Force be with you!

He's got hair like mine. Petrelli style rules.

I really like the effect of how you made the lightsaber, how didja do it?

Thanks!

I only used a silver-colured pencil for that one. Afterwards I erased all smudges of pencil in the lightsabre's core.

What truly gives the sabre it's brilliance, though, is the nowhite but light gray background, methinks.

It is stated clearly, in various novels of the Expanded Galaxy, in comics and in the Star Wars RPG - Revised Core Rulebook that a lightsaber can be any colour the Jedi building the saber desires. In the Revised Core Rulebook, however, it is stated that blue and green are the most common colours of Force crystals, alongside the artificial crystals that give a Sith's blade its distinctive red colour.
Mara Jade wields a pink blade in "Mara Jade - By the Emperor's Hand", and there are many more colours in "Jedi Council - Acts of War" (both are copyrighted to LucasArts and Dark Horse Comics) - showing that there were far more than six colours in BOTH eras, the Old Republic AND the Rebellion Era.
The colours you listed are, in my opinon, taken from the game "Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy". There are more colours, though, in KOTOR I and II, such as turquoise and silver.
In one novel of the Expanded Galaxy there even is a deep yellow blade with a blue halo.

And even IF there were only six colours, there is something called "artistic liberties"...

May the Force be with you!

actually, there were only suposed to be 3 colors, blue, green, and red. but then samuel l. jackson wanted a purple lightsaber for mace. so technically, there should only be 3/4 diff colors in the StarWars universe.

My recommendation: don't judge the universe and it's possibilities by just the movies. Before you say something like this, also read the books and the other stuff from the Expanded Galaxy.

And always remember something calles artistic liberties.

Excelently done! I admire you for staying calm through the argument of Saber colors, and I totally agree. The movies were the foundation, if you will, for a house that so many imaginations can perfect. HOWEVER, I think the movies should never be contradicted, as George Lucas created Star Wars, not Timothy Zhan. I still admire whow calmly you handled this conversaton! May the Force be with you, Master.

Thank you! It was quite difficult to get the glowing effect and it was even harder to keep it (you know, I'm not good at working with Photoshop)...

That could be - he constantly has little quarrels with Hexx about the Force in general and the Jedi in particular
Yesterday, however, Kalem saved Hexx' life by using the Force, so I hope his attitude has changed a bit.

Thanks a lot for the compliment

Glad u like it
I like the hair, too (although it might be an obstacle in a lightsaber duel)...in fact I think it's the coolest hairstyle that ever came out of the tip of my pencil

See you next week at university

May it be with you, too

Thanks a lot, I'm glad you like this picture. Unfortunately there's no (not yet!) picture of me as a Jedi, but I think I'll be working on one soon.

Have a nice day!
