I like the design for the reformed Sombra. Also, Discord did the exact same thing to Sombra that Fluttershy did to him: he never wanted to be tied down by friends, burdened by what others think, but then she made him realize the joys that come with friendship, and he accepted the loss of some of his freedom, but was still thankful to her for what she did.

I'm pretty sure the bad guys on this show have been getting increasingly heinous for a reason; they probably want one to STAY evil. NMM blacked out the sun, dooming all life on earth, I think, but was redeemed by the end, Luna becoming wildly popular. Discord broke and brainwashed the Element bearers, plunging the land into chaos, but he was too much fun to hate. Chrysalis played Twilight's brother like a fiddle, imprisoned Cadence, and might well have drained the love/life from all of Canterlot, Sombra was, from what I gathered, pretty much Pony Hitler with black magic. If even HE can be redeemed, I'm wondering where the writers can turn to not have to always make new, threatening characters to cause trouble.
Possible problem with love/tolerate/befriend-y-ness that comes with being a fan of this show; villains are hard to keep around, probably why so many disney films end with them falling off very tall things. Perhaps if we had an antagonist that was largely despised anyway? As such, I propose...
