It had taken her longer than most to learn how to hunt. As a pup, Vashti had been skittish and shy, often finding any reason she could to stray from any adult who took an interest in her and behaving even more flighty around those within her age group. With the gentle guidance and persistence of a select few, however, and her own willingness to try and try again, she finally gained the skills she needed to sustain herself and help feed others of her kind.

Nowadays, she's catlike in her method: careful and quiet with barely more than the gentle soughing of the brush to give her away.
