Update: Darkened the skin tone to match my Bardock SSJ2 artwork and in the future will be the skin tone used for all my Bardock artworks. I also enlarged the image a lot, so feel free to download the full size. And Finally the most important thing, he now has a completely different SSJ3 hairstyle, which I hope people like more then the last cut he had. Basically looks a lot more SSJ3, I think.___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
So finally got a changes to make Bardock in the Super Saiyan 3 form, now this wont be the only version of him I plan to post of him in this form. SSJ3 is my favorite form and I have another 4 concept that I have made, (way of from being finish) but plan to do at least 1 or 2 of them in the future. For part of the pose it based of a DB Heroes card and I used the DBCProject version of Bardock as base, so special thanks to them. Changes a lot of colors and lines ect to get it to fit to what I was after.
Last thing I wish we got to see more of Bardock, an unique outfit and a personality different to other characters, it was a shame he was not a main character in the series some how.

I agree , Bardock had something about him that he remained a bad ass. He's very different from Goku , Goten and Gohan . Bardock is one of my favorite char's because of his attitude and doesn't mess around or let people mess with him. Great ass picture , not so fond of this pose though it doesn't mean it ain't great . Looking forward to the other versions and maybe if you feel like it you can make a SSJ4 version that ain't just a copy of Goku as SSJ4

Another well done picture. My only nitpick is that one of the hair spikes looks like its clipping through his bandana.
As a side question, is there any reason you only use blue for the eyes and not green? They're both correct, but is there a reason for the preference?

Thanks you. Well the Bandana looked silly just stuck to his head need to look like it was going around the head. Plus I had no reference since Bardock was never a super saiyan 3. Now for the eyes they are green not blue, the color green which I always is the official color green use in Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and 3 video games.

I view these eyes as blue, but I might not be able to differentiate it well. The 'green' which I was referring to was the more lime colored one used for the original super saiyans. But if you're using the colors from the games that makes sense.

My face looks great on my body, if I do say so myself. But the hair because of the angle I used which has the hair blowing back, well it does not really work on a pose standing up right.

No I did not for get, some people put black pupils in, some don't. I never have in the SSJ3 artworks I have made, personally don't like it.

I'm working a few at the moment have not decided yet which one to focus on. Love to do both Broly SSJ4 and LSSJ4 as well, not sure when I will as I'm not a big fan of making the fur or the hairstyle in that particular form.

Ive noticed Broly SSJ4 seems to be given brown fur but I personally the non LSSJ Broly is scarier since he has the speed added to his power. Personally this would be a good SSJ4 Broly. [link]

Yes and for SSJ5 I have always like the hairstyle but I have never liked the colors used for either version. But if I had to pick one I guess I would go with Young Jijii version.

Normal skin tan, white hair and fur, red eyes and purple lining is YJ version.

Well say it was Goku for example, I would have long black hair (like the SSJ5 version we know) red fur no eyebrows and blue lightning bolts. So just an evaluation of the SSJ4 form. Basically like how SSJ, SSJ2 and SSJ3 had changes and similarities to each other.

Ah you like the no eyebrow look. I like both the Toyble and Young Jijii versions of SSJ5, White Monekeys has a cool version where the fur covers the neck and part of the chin. Im more focused on the SSJ6 design which for me is a throwback to SSJ1-3. The hair length is between is the same as 5 which is between 3 and 4 but more upright in the fashion of SSJ1 and 2 and retaining the classic gold/blonde color. The eyes go back to the pupil less green and the liner is gold as well as well as the fur.

Looks perfect as is in my opinion. The angle does kinda make his hair shorter but who cares, its freaking Bardock SSJ3. May I assume Gohan or Gogeta is next? Seeing how SSJ3 Gogeta is now real in Heroes (love that company, giving us real what ifs!)
