I started this on October 12th last year, it hard to believe it has taken this long to finish it. A have changed just about every detail more then once. With time and time again I was unhappy with how it was going, I lost track. I gave up working on it many times and moved on to another artwork instead.Anyways no disrespect to all the other Gotenks SSJ4 out there but no one has ever got it right. They all use his base hair and color plus giving him red fur, which is fine, if he was not a fusion. Goku SSJ4 has black hair and red fur and Vegeta SSJ4 has brown hair and red fur. But when fused together as Gogeta SSJ4, he have red hair and maroon fur. So as I used that as the idea for making Gotenks SSJ4, as I think both fusions would work the same.

Gotenks can't go Super Saiyan 4. He's not a pureblooded Saiyan.

I knew some sooner or later was going to post a comment stating that fact. Anyway yes I well aware of that but how care it fan art. If everyone went by the rules it would be very boring world we would live in. Beside it cool to think of what a character would look like in a form they never achieved before, if they can or can't that shouldn't matter.

Is that important? It make more fun too make some Characters, which break the logic of DragonBall. Like Pan SSJ1, or Goku SSJ5, just an imagination, how they would looks like. ^^

Yes its important. Its called respecting canon. SSJ1 Pan or SSJ5 Goku is ok, because it doesn't break any established rules. But a Super Saiyan 4 or above hybrid Saiyan like Trunks, Gohan, or Goten is bad because it breaks a rule. Just like the evil Kai in Dragonball AF (All the Kais were pure good, and could be petty at best when it came to evil). Its just as bad as making Majin Goku because it breaks the rule that only evil people can become Majin, when Goku is pure good.

If me or other Tenkaichi Editors make a Character that break against a DBZ Rule, we imagine how they would looks like, just i say before.

Yeah Gotenks was power full as SSJ3 and could have a Buu at that stage, so SSJ4 would be epic.

though u cant really ever say no one has ever gotten it right because when it comes down to it ssj4 gotenks doesn't exist and never will exist 
and do remember trunks' hair is purple maybe it would be different even still ;]

Thank you, well that's true but you look at Gogeta SSJ and Gogeta SSJ4 there is a very large difference in hairstyle. Everyone else who has made a version of Gotenks as SSJ4 use the base hair and add those strains of hair that makes them look like a SSJ4 (well some people do).
Also how do you explain why Gogeta SSJ4 has red hair, yet Goku SSJ4 has black and Vegeta had dark brown?
I always thought of Gogeta a little like a SSJ5 would look like because of the huge power level. As his hair and fur is so different to Goku and Vegeta's SSJ4 form.

It's true about the hair...
I'm not sure about any logical explanation xD but I think when they are merged together as SSJ4 he looks a lot more like the "monkey king" then any other and I think that's what they were going for, I have seen many monkey king pics where he had that deep fire red hair and fur.
Also you know? When they are in the "Great Ape" form they were both brown furred, so why when they turned more humanoid did the fur turn deep red? xD

So by that logic, Gotenks would look the same to, as Gogeta. Because like kid Gohan hey could have gone "Great Ape" Trunks and Goten. Hair color has nothing to do with the "Great Ape" form, all "Great Apes" have brown fur. I hate that Trunks has purple hair because ever one thinks it has some sort of impact and that's bull. Goku has black hair and Vegeta as brown yet both "Great Ape" form look the same.
Basically what I'm getting is what you are saying is Gotenks SSJ4 would have red hair just like I made. If Goten went "Great Ape" like his brother he would have brown fur. but yes its just weird how they change the colors the way they do when it comes to ssj4
i actually think urs is one of the most reasonable looks ive seen ^^
tho if it were possible for them to be ssj4 i do wish they would be older x3 but thats just my personal preference <3

Thank you and for add him to your favs. But Gogeta does not have the same hair in his SSJ form compared to his SSJ4 they look nothing a like. Also my Gotenks SSJ4 hair looks nothing like Gogeta's SSJ4 hair besides length and color.
