Well in HG SS Geodude can learn selfdestruct at level 18 ( i had the remakes, not the original ) so i used it at Whitney's Miltank. I expected to do less damage, instead it ko'ed the Miltank to my suprise.Β

Gahhh, I can't stand Whitney's Miltank OR when she refuses to give you her Plain Badge for defeating her because she's in a fit of tears over losing a battle...
I mean, if she's not emotionally mature from that we normally expect from gym leaders, then why even bother making her one? At least Trainers have more guts to take a defeat gracefully than she does.

Is it wierd that I found Whitney to be really cute, even though her damn cow Pokemon ticked me off? Plus, I also got a bit peeved when I finally beat her, and she cried before giving me my badge, almost as if the game makes you feel bad for beating her.
