Description This is the M5 Anti-Air Transporter Erector Launcher(AA TEL, and nicknamed "Roadcrusher"(because its so heavy it actualy destroys tarmac if deployed for long times)), it carries 8 "Magic Missile" Anti-Air guided missiles and can't fire them on their own, it need external guidance(Radar, Manual or Heatseeking).

This is probably the most powerfull self-propeled Anti-Air weapon the Lego armed forces have. While it is extremely slow and imobile, it has enough armor to survive an airstrike(Tough the missiles on top probably won't survive it) and just the sight or the sound of it can scare most soldiers off(The minifigure near the side is meant to give you an idea of its immense size).

Vehicle Data:
Maximum speed: 20 km/h
Range: 300 km
Turning Circle: 20 meters
Deployment time: 7 minutes

Missile Data:
Range: 130 kilometers
Warhead: 15 kilograms of explosives and 5 kilograms of tungsten shrapnel
Turning Circle: 500 meters
Maximum speed: Mach 2.6
0 to Mach 2.6 in: 2.3 kilometers
Maximum effective altitude: 60.000 meters

And a free cookie to who guesses right on answer to this question: What is this designed after?

Is that question so difficult? XD

TehGodMan In reply to AeraeElae [2009-10-10 19:16:12 +0000 UTC]

not necessarily; you just have to make it fir torpedo-like pod things that each hold a single fighter, and have them shoot up to and past the surface, then have them release the fighters once in the air.

I know. I did suggest floating bags too. But I don't see the warriors doing any good floating in the sea at large.

TehGodMan In reply to AeraeElae [2009-10-11 16:51:16 +0000 UTC]

not floating, deployment pods. kinda like drop pods from several games, but fired from underwater and carrying fighters instead of people.

pretty easy to make. 8g iron oxide mixed with 3g aluminum powder
you can use any system of measurement as long as that proportion is kept

AeraeElae In reply to TehGodMan [2009-10-16 08:29:52 +0000 UTC]

I wonder what mother would say if she found me smuggling minerals to my room. >_>
The proportion is 8:3 Fe:Al, right?

actually, FeO2:Al, but yeah, right proportion.
in case you're wondering what iron oxide is, it's rust.

Its probably the most powerfull unit the soviets have in Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 it has a limitless supply of bombs and can survive 3 a-bombs, or 3 minutes of continious fire by a FLAK

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AeraeElae In reply to HTML-LORD [2009-10-07 12:24:37 +0000 UTC]

Limitless....what does it do, give birth to bombs?
The guy who created it, probably lent his kid the plans for one day. Hence the addition of the pointless 'grin'.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

HTML-LORD In reply to AeraeElae [2009-10-07 12:33:56 +0000 UTC]

In Red Alert 3 it says that is has a near-limitless supply, but in fact it is just unlimited ammo and one thing can level a whole base within a minute, if the buildings are not far away, because the thing's only disatvantage is that its slow as fucking hell

The grin is a reference to WW2 Fighter plane, completely pointless but if I was a infantry unit I would be scared a hell
