Poison Oak stood atop Wayne Manor, overseeing Ivy's empire.The passion that flowed through him afforded him a certain clarity: Ivy's word is sacred.
Some would say his blind devotion would be his downfall.
Oak would silence those critics with a snap of the neck.
Oak turned Wayne Manor into Fangorn Forest with Ivy's help.
SHE was actually in love! Ivy felt a certain attachment to this...personification of the Olympian ideal.
Ivy supplemented her thugs' physical prowess with injections of Titan as well as her OWN serum.
No one objected.
Earth, in no time, was Ivy and Oak's to rule.
They did what so many wanted to, but never could.
The last transmission of Hal Jordan reached Oa, but was garbled.
Regardless, The Guardians deployed the entire Green Lantern Corps to Earth.
Sinestro led the charge. He felt a sense of responsibility to Hal, John, and Guy.
Arkillo led the Sinestro Corps while the other ring-slingers joined the fray.
