Hi Rob, Thank you at first for watching, liking and commenting .
It is both
The skin used has normal maps included but i changed there nothing. I used hd morphs for that character and also used the massive HD morphs from Rawart. Additionally i added some Veins as morphs. The character itself has set mesh resolution to maximum to get the beat out of it and that is where you see at the how highly detailed Genesis 8 figures for daz are already are. Especially when adding the HD morphs.

Nope not really. I know what picture set you mean as they are incredible artworks from BlackTalonArts. Belongs to my favorite artists.
But the as you can see in my gallery my barbarian warrior Fia has a long story with me since Genesis 1. You can simply check my gallery for that.
And since a long time i wanted to make a picture like this.
Only because both are black and white setups it does not mean it is a copy.

It's not the story, or your character, it is too similar in style she does with her character.
Sometimes when you admire people you tend to subconsciously use their style
but it doesn't make it right, it actually makes original artists quit and get disheartened
and creates way more damage than you can even guess.
From a thumb, I thought it was BTA. Up close, you made more than a few beginner mistakes
you should know how to correct if you're using Daz Studio that long.
But it's first impression that sells it under false advertisement and it's highly unethical, imo.
Just my two cents, take it or leave it. But it's better having your own style.

Sorry if you had such an impression - but this perhaps is just because you favorite BTAs works and have a limited focus.
As said my character i use already for a long time. it is just a monochrome picture with minimal light setup of my female barbarian warrior char.
If you really would do critism than it would be nice to point out these lots of mistakes i made as hobby artist.
But that is typical for the "upperclass" DAZ Community.
I do sometimes at weekends some pictures and been not able or want to compete or compare with someone like BTA. I would also never see any sense in this as i do this just for fun and hobby. I have this female warrior lady created first time in Gen 1 and you find a lot of pictures in my DAZ Gallery or here on DA from Fia - so i could also say that BTA copied my character. But would i do this ? No . Why should i ?
And not all monochrome picture are now a copy of BTAs work. So any other artist using DAZ would never be able to do similar works - thats stupid sorry.

Heya valzheimer, as it seems i can not send you a note - obviously you blocked me - but i will give you the feedback that i had contact to BTA directly. She understands your arguments as well as mine.
She is okay that sometimes there will be always art which can be compared and or is very close to another artists work. That happens - even if it is not intended to.
So please once again when you had already taken a look into my gallery - as BTA did - you would see that i work often with my Character Fia since years and i usually have my own style. And that is far away from monochrome settings.
But in this case i wanted to do this since i created my Fia in Gen 8 - to show her fantastic and beautiful muscled warrior body - and for that monochrome with a high contrast is a good method.
So please no hard feelings - i can understand your approach and arguments - but a copy was for sure not intended here.
