It's made out of old car bumpers which are plastic
It's not articulated as that would take too long to make and also it would then be ridiculously expensive
It was made over bout three weeks but they were looooong days (I had a deadline)

I love this!! I work in a metal shop making rails, so I'm familiar with welding, I don't see any evidence of welding in your art, maybe just the frame underneath? Anyways.... great work on everything you do. I've played around a bit with making some things myself, seeing this gives me inspiration!

Thanks! The fox is made out of car bumpers which are plastic. There's a steel armature underneath that I welded though..

How do you color your pieces if I may ask - spray paint, etc ?
Also, how do you curve the pieces, with heat?
I find the transformation of auto parts to this beautiful piece fascinating.

No colour and no heat. This piece is made from old car bumpers and they're plastic and flexible. Same as the hubcaps.
