First time I saw this, I thought it was a Reaper from Mass Effect! Excellent work. Consider this also a "Hey that would be cool to see you make!" suggestion too - not that you need any. Looks like you have tonnes of ideas of your own! Gorgeous stuff!

I've got loads of stuff I want to make - Dinosaurs, Egyptian gods, Indian chiefs - but I also get a lot of commission work which pays the bills but gets in the way too! 'Reapers' look really cool - maybe one day. Thanks for the compliment!

Wow, I stumbled onto this piece and your work by accident, the gesture on this guy is really great. I'm working on an octopus piece right now and did all this research, their bodies are SO WEIRD. I love it!

They're great things aren't they? If you get to see one in real life (or video would do) they are just the most amazing things. I'd like to keep this sculpture but I've got to feed my family...

holy crap man, that is amazing. What on earth are you doing? Are you just hammering and bending these caps into these shapes by hand? Are you heating and then buffing or what because these are all stunningly creative, and this is possibly one of the most creative, unique mediums I've seen someone work in. Damn, please keep making.

Thanks for all the compliments! They aren't metal - they're plastic, so I guess they'll live a lot longer than I will. I don't use any heat or glue or machinery other than a battery powered drill and hand tools. Keeps it simple...

The common octopus, now not as common as it was when I was young, is one of my favourite animals. This piece has a good deal of the character and attitude of the animal itself.

To expand.. It took a day to make each tentacle, and at the time I made it I was charging 100GBP per days work (about one third the amount
my mechanic charges me)
So that makes 900GBP in all because the body took around a day too!

Well that's what I expected really. Still, I'm afraid I don't exactly have the space for it (again), so uh... good luck selling this? Sorry for getting your hopes up.
It's a really nice piece

This one was inspired by the shape of the body which was the soap container from a wet vacuum cleaner - I checked a few pics of octopi online and then just got stuck in, correcting mistakes as I went. Sort of sketching in 3d if you like..
