FINALLY got to watching the first season of Primeval! I liked it, even though I felt it was the dialogue was tad cheesy at times. Everything else, the actors, most of the special effects and story were spot-on.Here is my design of the future predator, a genetically-modified super predator from the future, engineered from a bat. I liked the creativity of the creature, so here is my own design of it. I tried to capture the bat aspect more, as well as make it more frightening(is that even possible?). Here it is!

Well, future predators don't really have eyes in the first place....they have some sort of hole on the sides of their head, but I'm not sure if that's supposed to be an ear-hole.

Actually, they do. The middle hole in the nose isn't a nostril but an ear. It sees sound in front of it. Like a human sees things going on in front of it.

External ears, as in ear structures. You see huge ears in basically every terrestrial mammal that relies heavily on hearing. Especially bats.

Yup, that's the future predator from Primeval.
So far, just finished season 2. I feel the dialogue and character development can be flawed sometimes, but there are REALLY good episodes, like the episodes with the Smilodon, Silurian Scorpion, dodo, etc.
I like how all the future animals are homages to Dixon and previous speculative evolution stories. Overall, cool show!

Well, it's a low budget bad british sci-fi serie... I mean, how WORST can it get ? x'D
And yet, they managed to do something pretty descent, with very lovable characters (aka Abbie and Connor), some good songs and a cool rock 'n roll feel all along.
And yes, I love it for the creatures, I mean, it came out in 2007, I was like 13 years old so... That's the best serie ever when you see it at that age !

There are episodes I really like; like the Smilodon and Silurian Scorpion episodes. The show actually could become really good when it went into darker territory, such as the Smilodon mauling his owner and Connor's friends death from the parasite. It also became really good, oddly, when things got very lighthearteed, like the girl in the Silurian era and Rex.
Ive actually felt the soundtrack was really weird.....it sort of bugs me. The opening theme if friggin AWESOME, though.

Yes, DINOWORLD is a park, complete with attractions and exhibits. Each creature file shows the completed park's web page on the dinosaur, and the history shows exactly where the park was in development when the creature was made. It's meant to show exactly how far they've come.
So, stage 4, the park itself, is opening. Got any ideas for creatures?

Did you chose the "genetically recreated" creatures to bring them back or is it something else ?

Picked them myself, largely based off of the level of capability GREENGECKO is at to create them. They're at least fifteen or sixteen years ahead of us, and each new "stage" of the project is to see how far they can push the project, see just what they can create. For example, stage 4 will feature Pscittasaurus, which is in their capability at that time. Stage five will feature a leptoceratopsians and a pachycephalosaur, while stage six will sport a full-blown ceratopsian.
I started the project largely because no one has really bothered to try this. The only long-lasting project similar to this one is Sheather's Eden, and that focuses more on the care of the creatures rather than their creation.
I might have a map of the finished park soon, but not right now. I don't care if the creature's already in the project, tell me your ideas!
