tHe eAgLe

You came rushing into my heart like a herd of wild horses
I heard the trembling noise long before I was able to show this
You were flying high above my head - calm and full of peace
And long before I would have given the world for just one kiss.

You were surrounded and protected by white fluffy clouds
And me down there starring upwards with a head full of doubts
Should I reach out and pull you out of heaven down to me
Just to show you that there is so much more to see?

Fate made you drop down to earth one day
Your eyes so sad and too weak to fly away
So I wrapped my arms around your beautiful feather dress
Knowing already that letting go will leave me in a mess.

Your eyes started staring longingly towards the sky
And I felt keeping you would make you die
Fighting with my wish to stay with you, I let you go
My heart full of sorrow and unable to tell you so.

I was standing under the tree waiting for you each day
I knew landing beside me might be a too high price for you to pay
So I jumped on those trembling wild horses with just one aim
To be able to follow you and leaving behind from where I came.

You came rushing into my life like a herd of wild horses
The trembling noise is something I never again want to miss
I follow your flight path, having faith through and through
Hoping that one day I can lift my wings to fly with you.

I know I didn't do any manips for a long long time. A long time I was blocked and dead inside, so Im happy that it still seem to work although it took me 9 hours including the poem. Actually this piece has a reason. It is a birthday present for a very special person in my life. The eagle itself is one of his favourite animals, but not many stock-people offer them for the community. I found one at sxc though and it seems to work for this piece. Many thanks to ~stockhorse for all those gorgeous and perfect usable horse pics, also many thanks to *Dove-Stock who offers a pretty neat collection of movement fotos of a beautiful girl.
