Description Three new models! #43 is the crane, #44 is the workmen's coach and #45 is the flatbed, for heavy bulky loads. Three of the new models I made, and with 80 more to go. I painted most of it with dark green spray paint. The hook is a white wall hook modified with white clay and stuck together with glue. The actions on the crane are realistic; it can turn raise the arm and all (or most). They look almost like the upcoming Hornby models. Guess who's pulling the breakdown train?

Upcoming models: 5972 Olton Hall, Hogwarts Express coach, D199 (Spamcan), Stepney and Tornado (as the 50th model).

It would help if you could stick something like 4 wheeled bogie underneath each model, so they can actually run along the track or something.

HufflepuffBatboy In reply to MrJoj [2011-07-09 20:42:15 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I've tried to make the bogies on the flatbed turn, but it didn't work. For HO bogies, I might do that.

MrJoj In reply to HufflepuffBatboy [2011-07-09 21:00:58 +0000 UTC]

Ya know, bachmann 4 wheeled bogies are only like $3 each, $9 for a pack of 6

HufflepuffBatboy In reply to MrJoj [2011-07-09 21:21:36 +0000 UTC]

But six wheel bogies? I bet they're hard to find.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MrJoj In reply to HufflepuffBatboy [2011-07-09 22:20:04 +0000 UTC]

You won't need size wheeled bogies, the bogie itself would just be covered by those wheels you put in. Well if you ARE looking for six wheelers, theres always ebay, just start with a tank engine before you go jumping into gordon (wait what?)

Worth a try, but okay. The hooks (paper clips) I might try adjusting, yet won't be easy...

Ask yourself this though... Is it more fun to have train models that actually run along the rails? or ones that'll rip themselves to bits over time?

HufflepuffBatboy In reply to MrJoj [2011-07-10 01:44:16 +0000 UTC]

I'd rather have them in one piece, so yeah, actually running along the rails.
