Name: Ilinas Raste

Species: Ice elf

Personality:stubborn, enjoys messing around with alchemy, extremely reserved most of the time, emotion
becomes more and more unstable the more she uses her magic. Her reserved nature often makes her seem
cold or sarcastic. Will always resort to racial abilities first before using her magic. Has a habit of
eavesdropping.

Abilities:
-Fire/heat Manipulation: a rather straightforward application of her magic, allowing her to bend fire.
However, she cannot light a fire only manipulate pre-existing flames
-Rune Writing (specialized towards fire): Allows Ilinas to enchant items with new qualities related to
her affinity of fire
-Natural Shards: Ilinas' body is able to produce shards of ice which she can launch from her body. Her
body temperature is naturally cold as a result.
-Rudimentary-level Alchemy: Ilinas has a basic understanding of the properties of certain materials and
plants

Weaknesses:
-Magic-use: the more magic Ilinas uses the more unstable her magic and her personality become. Doesn't make her any less dangerous.
-Anti-social: Ilinas prefers to avoid being near others. This is partially due to not really getting
to know others
-Reluctant to fight: She'll do it, but she definitely won't enjoy it. Not really because she hates the
idea of people getting hurt. Mostly because it FEELS generally unpleasant to her.

Background: Unlike most of her race, Ilinas found her magical affinity bent towards fire rather than
ice. Her magic in fact, was very wild and extremely hard to control, often leading to her creating
accidents while practicing. She ran away at a very young age as a result of the peak of a long line of
unintentional property damages. She traveled south, in seek of somewhere she could practice with no
repercussions, or at the very least where they won’t murder you because you accidentally burnt their
house down.
She eventually was entered as a student for an academy, where she honed her magical
abilities and picked up other skills. Her student life in the academy was rather odd, as she never
got close with any of her colleagues. She would often study her magical practice on her own rather than
in the classroom, and thus only attended classes she knew she needed to attend. She ended up
participating in an academy-wide competition where the most talented students and was knocked out during
the second elimination. Shortly after, she was seen being arrested and disappeared from the academy, never
to be seen again. Currently, she is on the run for resisting said arrest.
