When all you want is at least one nice photo for your yearly report update, but your partner doesn’t speak formal, nor does he any respect for your attempts to present yourself as a professional.

Finally drew Percy Wright, another one of Hobbs’ affiliates. In the original concept for the story, he was going to already be dead, but new developments necessitated bringing him back and making him much more of a major player than he had been. He technically won’t show up until arc 2, but I’ve already had an opportunity to sneak a veiled reference to him into the draft for arc 1, so… that’s cool. I really love when I can get myself hyped over my own characters, and man, I am hyped for Percy to come into play.

There’s one factor, however, that likely made this situation extremely difficult for Hobbs and necessitated a bit of a scheme on his part: his second, Wyatt Moses. You’ve unfortunately had the pleasure of meeting him, I understand,” he said with a glance at the four behind him. “Wyatt and Percy were partners when they worked for us in the Security Service. They were close, very close. Everyone knew that. I’ve worked with both of them myself, and I can guarantee that if Wyatt had to choose between Hobbs and Percy, he’d pick Percy every time. So if Percy turned loose-lipped, I don’t think Hobbs could have outright punished him for it, especially if he still needs him. So I think,” Shelby leaned back in his chair, “Hobbs has got Percy hidden out there somewhere, and pinned his disappearance on us. And if my theory is correct and Percy can be found, he might be more than willing to give us a hand.”
