The highly specific newbie D&D/Baldur's Gate 3 experience of:

Being wrongfully arrested because the local Tiefling children got mad you were in their little pickpocket hideout for too long and lied about you to the local guards so you got all of your equipment taken away and escorted to jail.

Tried to wait it out.

Continued to be upset about it. Finally found a little hole in your jail cell, hopped through it down a path and stumble into a cave, unarmed, by yourself, that's filled with goblins that proceed to beat the absolute shit out of you.

All because you didn't realize the guards who arrested you left your lock picking tools on you and this whole time you could've fucking picked the lock to the unguarded cell door. But no. You had to go on a solo adventure because you have no idea what you're doing.

And that was my first day of Playing Baldur's Gate 3.

But instead of my Tav getting inconvenienced he was rolling death saving throws by the time he managed to flee combat into camp because I was panicked and stepped into fire from a trap he triggered or something that did damage RIGHT after he ported over to camp and knocked him into the dirt so he had to lie there by himself at camp feeling miserable and dying until the rest of the party came to help his dumb ass.

But making the party go save him from goblins in a cave sounds way more fun.
