"I caught it! Er, well, you caught it, but... I helped catch it!" Limppaw beamed excitedly, bouncing up to their mentor with a grin. They'd never actually made a catch before today, and couldn't help but have a bounce in their step as they walked around the fish, circling and examining it. In reality is was rather small and unimpressive, but in Limppaw's eyes, it was the biggest, most beautiful fish they'd ever seen.
If only Frogkit were here; I bet he would've been a great hunter! Despite the thought's negative indications, Limppaw soon realized that the thought hadn't saddened them- for the first time since their brother died, they weren't upset about thinking of him. They grinned despite themselves, appearing to be grinning about to catch, but, truly, they were smiling because of the thought of their brother, and how happy he made them even while he was gone.

Apparel
NEW-LEAF/GREEN-LEAF OUTFIT || (Pictured above) Shirtless except for a waist-long cape lined with fuzz long the collar, which is attached by using his emblem as a button. His pants are the usual roomy kind that most cats wear. The outfit is accompanied by bracers on both his forearms and his shins, although his shinguards tie in with the lightweight coverings wrapped around his feet.
LEAF-FALL/LEAF-BARE OUTFIT || The same as his outfit for the warmer seasons, except now he dons a tunic as well and exchanges his cape for a cloak that includes a hood and a length that goes down to his feet. The inside is lined with fur, and it attached about the neck in the same fashion as his cape does, by using his emblem as a button. He transfers his emblem whenever the season starts to change.
ACCESSORIES || Besides the emblem attached to his cape, he also wears a blue sash upon his waist that has golden beads within it. He also carries many golden hair ties with him, most of them regular ones for his large, heavy braid, and a couple of them being metallic clips that he uses on his smaller braid. The golden coloring remind him of his mate, Hollyfang's, eyes.

SWORD NAME || Raven
BLADE LENGTH || The length of his arm.
SWORD/BLADE SHAPE || The hilt is fairly normal, wrapped in dark blue cloth and with a strip of light blue sashed to it that also ties in a string of golden beads. The blade however, is straight on one side, but curves inwards on its other, serrated side before curving back out.
NOTABLE FEATURES || It runs a gradient from dark grey to muted white, seemingly mimicking Crowstar's own black and white markings.
OTHER || Just as a sword can be seen as an extension of one's own arm, Crowstar sees his sword as an extension of himself. As such, he ties his values to it- the light blue sash for the coloration of his daughters' eyes, and the golden beads for the coloration of his mate's eyes.

Loving || Positive | Crowstar possesses a fierce love for his Clan, his family, and all those who have one way or another earned the tom's trust and respect. His love for others belongs to many, however, as Crowstar is not one to hold grudges. He will protect his loved ones to the best of his ability, whether it be through fighting, advice, or even just a friendly face. However he can help, Crowstar will do it.
Upbeat || Positive | No matter the situation, Crowstar can always see an upside to it. This positive attitude is always shown in the smile on his face and the open love he shows to everyone, as he simply feels that he shouldn't let himself wallow in whatever saddens him. This makes him a great shoulder to lean upon, as whatever problems arise, Crowstar can absorb them and provide a helpful outlook to those still struggling.
Goofy || Neutral | While Crowstar's goofy personality can make him very lovable and enjoyable to be around, his tendency to be silly can be a drawback in serious situations. He tries his best to focus within serious situations, and usually succeeds, but even then, his goofy personality is still likely to act up and cause him to mess up.
Protective || Neutral | Crowstar will do anything to protect those he loves, whether it be fighting against the other Clans to protect his own, or threatening young toms who seem to be hanging around his daughters too much- sometimes, his protective personality can cause him to be overprotective.
Gullible || Negative | It is rather easy to convince Crowstar of things- simply state it as if it were fact, and he will forever hold onto the belief that said fact is true. Unfortunately, this gullibility also affects his judgement in who to trust and who to give his love to- as it is easy to earn the trust of this cat, it is also easy to betray him.
Personal || Negative | While Crowstar may be outwardly positive, especially to those who are hurting, whenever he comforts another and learns of their struggles he ends up shouldering their feelings upon himself. He feels himself responsible for caring for those he loves, and therefore internally takes it hard whenever they are upset, for he feels as though he has failed them.

History
KIT || Crowkit was born alongside a small, black she-kit named Ravenkit, and a slightly larger tom called Starlingkit, the closeness of their names eventually leading to Crowstar's own affinity for matching names, as evidenced by his two children, Duskpaw and Dawnpaw. The three siblings enjoyed running about together, but, unfortunately, they were born towards the beginning of leaf-bare. A bout of greencough hit ShadowClan, and although careful attention was given so as not to infect the queens and their kits, eventually Ravenkit caught the disease towards the end of the cold season. Due to her young age of only three moons and her weak structure, she soon passed away. While Starlingkit soon started to grow agitated after the loss of their sister, Crowkit found himself to be much quieter, often mulling over the incident in his young mind.
APPRENTICE || Crowpaw, upon reaching 6 moons, was apprenticed to Mistywillow, a patient she-cat whose careful instruction helped the young tom to flourish. In the moons after the death of his sister, his Clan had been extremely supportive of him, and he greatly appreciated their kindness. This appreciation turned to a fierce love as he learned more and more about the Warrior Code and the values of ShadowClan, and by the end of his days as an apprentice he was determined to be the best warrior he could possibly be for the sake of his Clan. Despite this, he would often find himself distracted while in the presence of an older apprentice by the name of Hollypaw. She was extremely talented and dedicated, and he learned a lot whilst trying to copy her. She seemed to only think of him as some funny kit, however, which somewhat disheartened him, especially considering that at one point during his apprenticeship, the she-cat rescued him from an attacking rogue who left the three scars he now bears upon his left arm. For whatever reason, he wanted her to think of her as a great warrior seemingly more than he wanted his Clan to think of him in that way. The one cat whose opinion he never had to worry about was Starlingpaw's, as the two brothers grew very attached during their training days. They would often sneak out together to go romping through the territory, daring each other into stupid stunts and laughing all the way; at one point, Crowpaw even convinced his brother to pierce his own lip! The bond between the two of them caused Crowpaw a great deal of grief when Starlingpaw was hurt in a border skirmish. The smaller brother survived, but his warrior ceremony was pushed back due to the incident, and so Crowpaw trekked to the Cave of Stars alone.
WARRIOR || After spending a night as all apprentices do while becoming a warrior, Crowstrike immediately knew what to call his new blade- Raven. While the black and white blade may remind other cats of his own appearance, he only sees his sister's pelt in its appearance- and it only seemed right that he somehow turn Ravenkit into the warrior she never got the chance to be. An extension of himself, his sister, his family, and his Clan, Raven means the world to him, and so he was proud as he carried home the companion that, from then on, would never leave his side. Hollypaw, now Hollyfang, seemed to see him in a slightly more respectable light, and now that he had his warrior name, he had the confidence to actually speak with her. As they patrolled, hunted, and hung out with one another more and more often, they soon realized just how much they had in common- and just how much they cared for one another. His love for her only grew stronger when he learned she was expecting kits, and once Dawnkit and Duskkit were born, he was certain that he would never let anything tear his family apart. Crowstrike couldn't have been prouder of his children- one a medicine cat apprentice and the other a smith apprentice; he was certain that they would go on to lead the Clan that he so dearly loves to greatness... But then Duskpaw left, following her mentor for reasons known to no one. Crowstrike was devastated by the loss of his child, but remained strong to support his mate and his remaining daughter. Worse yet, the leader at the time, Sedgestar, decided to leave in order to chase after the former medicine cat and her apprentice, leaving his deputy, Cinderhaze, to become Cinderstar. For a time, there was peace, but a massive storm swept through the forest, and both Cinderstar and her deputy went missing during the incident. In wake of their loss, it was decided that Crowstrike would rise to become Crowstar.
