Description
These are a couple of utility scripts to help improve workflow in Daz Studio. These scripts allow for the locking and unlocking of many bones at once with only a couple of clicks or by hitting some hotkeys rather than tediously locking bones individually.

The respective scripts will lock and unlock the rotations on all bones that are currently selected in the scene. Bone settings such as 'Twist', 'Forward-Back', 'Side-Side', 'Bend', 'RotX', 'RotY', 'RotZ' will be locked/unlocked.

To easily lock all bones in the arms/hands for example, right click on a parent bone such as 'Left Collar' then Select>Select Children and run the script. Repeat the process and run the unlock script to remove the effect.

The scripts can be executed via Script IDE, by double clicking them, or, to make it even easier, follow the instructions in the image above and add a custom action + hotkeys.

Once the bones are locked, any pose can be applied and the locked bones will stay in place. Useful for cases such as if the model is wearing handcuffs or an armbinder and you want the arms to stay in place while you apply different poses, another common use would be for feet if the model is wearing high heels so the foot/toes posing doesn't get reset when applying other poses, etc.

To install, simply unzip the file and drop the scripts in your Daz3d scripts folder. My Daz 3D Library > Scripts.
