I absolutely LOVE the red in the background and the shading, as well as the goomba screaming hysterically as he's lit on fire. Very nice touch. XD
I think the ONLY thing I could critique you on is Mario's profile looks a bit strange to me. But who am I to even say ANYTHING, I could never pull off a digital piece like this. X3

But yeah, I know it too, it's that at first, his head was too big so to don't spend half hour redoing or fixing it, I just resized for less the head and for more the body. Though it didn't stayed perfect, so I put it on the corner with dark shadows to nobody notice.

That... fight... was HARD. That's the boss battle I've died the most on so far because I kept screwing up my counters on the Goomba barrage.

and for me, my Mario died with 3 misses and luigi with 5. and it falls like 20 goombas...

weird....the last time i played the game it didnt take me long because i think i used my best attack (the jump helmet) on him so much....he died in like less than 6 or 7 turns!!!
