It had been a week since Blue Diamond had switched her Pearl from diapers during the night and naps to full time protection and in that week her wardrobe had adjusted too; gone were the days of tight leotards and flowing skirts and in were the days of comfy clothes, onesies to keep her diaper in place in case of tapes popping or getting so wet to the point they sagged and shortalls. Along with trainers or just socks on her tiny feet.

It was taking time for Pearl to adjust to the new routine and she almost resented it, but she was getting use to the idea of being padded 24/7 and the mountain of diapers that had piled up in her room was getting tall enough to climb. Her favourite were the Super Dry Kids, they had one tape either side and made changing a breeze, along with their childlike print being a big bonus, a close second were the LittlePawz, she liked the fade away paws but wasn't too fond of their bold design, being able to be seen through most pale clothes. That didn't really matter though as her diaper often bulged out in her shortalls or on good days, pyjama bottoms.

Pearl had been left alone in her room, in a triple layered diaper that almost made her snaps pop open. Her Diamond had very important business to attend to on a nearby colony and she knew that Pearl wouldn't enjoy the trip there and back, that, and there may not have been a space for her to change her diaper once it got too wet. So Pearl filled her time with drawing, and reading and watching recordings of shows from other planets that her Diamond took to watching.

It was getting quite late and Pearl had found herself at a loss of things to do, she had ran out of creative steam, all her books seemed boring and the shows too, and that is when her gaze drifted to the diaper pile, unopened packs stacked about mid way to Blue Diamond's height. She started climbing, and climbing and climbing until she got to the very top pack and sat on top of it.

"I'm the Diamond of the diaper pile!" She quietly exclaimed with a giggle, not knowing why she had never tried this before, until she heard a voice from beside her.
"Oh really now?" The soft accented voice questioned with a melodious, calm laugh, moving to be in front of her and squatting down to eye level with a small smirk on her usually sombre face.
"Oh..... Hi my Diamond!" Pearl sheepishly giggled, a large blush framing her face.
