nice piece. the stranger is one of my favorite books ever. this is a great glimpse of mersault as the sun beats down on him right before the incident.

i'd like to see your other 5 pieces related to this story.
did you include any other characters besides mersault and marie?

I love the book too- it was a rebirth for me, the beginning of my exploration of philosophy and a greater strength in spirituality and my own life values.

the other works are buried and probably will never be brought out- they are very past for me. Not the subject but the skill and execution, and more importantly the model are behind me.

wondrous! I love the line quality...your visualization of M. Meursault...and the muted colors. I've got an intense desire to adapt this novel into a graphic novel, I wish I had your talent to do it with!
Meursault doesn't particularly like having the sun in his eyes, does he? It makes him trigger-happy.

It is french, but I read an english version. Albert Camus the french transcendentalists wrote it. He belived life is absurd and you must make your own reality and find your own happiness in what you have or have expreienced. Otherwise you are just lost. Basically believe in stuff. SO yea very french.

So true. The theory itself doesn't hold true, but I hear it's an excellent book.

Well, yes. Giving personal meaning to the things one does in life is important, but I wouldn't say it's the most important thing. And underneath perception, there is a reality being perceived that doesn't change, you know?

Sorry to talk about not this piece... I honestly love it so much, I just... felt like I should talk about the book and stuff with ya. It's been cool to.
