When I was younger, I never quite understood people affection towards flowers and I never considered that I might end up taking close-up photos of flowers myself one day. But the fact is that I do, and I do appreciate when other people are able to reproduce the beautiful colours that many flowers really do have to offer.

There is a really neat focus on this flower, the pictures is very well composed and you can almost smell everything in it. Lovely!

Like others have said it does look very feminine, as a bloke though i can say that i think the shapes in the centre are pretty interesting so i think its a kinda cool subject. I like how it kinda folds over, it looks very soft, you definately get that feeling from looking at it.
for me though, im not sure i like how only the very tips of the petals are completely in focus, i almost want to see more details and the outside shape of the flower a little more
