At the Freedom Flotilla Global Day of Action in Toronto - June 5th

On Monday, May 31st, Israeli Commandos attacked, in international waters, a flotilla of humanitarian aid ships bound for the besieged Gaza Strip, killing up to 10 peace activists, mostly from Turkey, while injuring and torturing many more. This flotilla contained roughly 10,000 tonnes of aid, including cement, water-purification systems and wheelchairs as well as peace activists from all over the world, including Nobel Peace Prize laureates, a Holocaust survivor, former US government officials and several parliamentarians from Europe and Israel.

This was a blatant attack on human rights, done in the most brutal and in humane way possible but we have yet to see the international community hold Israel accountable for yet another terrorist attack on innocent people.
