I really like your handwriting.
I can tell you add a bit of style to こ which is cool because I'm always so lazy that I just make an = sign >.<
All the characters look really fun and cute

Thanks. Despite putting some "flare" on こ, it is my second least favourite character to write. The first would have to be つ. Haha. Part of that may be contributed to writing with a mechanical pencil, with the graphite tip being really small and pointy. It just seems none of my writing utensils "feels right" when doing Japanese. Haha.

Even though Japanese students must always learn to write their characters with a pencil, I favor a pen the best
I know what you mean. Some of the characters are awkward to write

It doesn't say much at this point; just some simple words, such as cat, dog, yes, and cell phone to name a few. Give me some time though and I'll pick up some French as well.

Haha, there you go. Then come to Canada and you'll fit in fine.

This is a page from my (former) diary, which naturally contains more of my "art-writing." Which the rest of will never see the face of the internet.

Well, technically, it has many faces. Some are attractive, others are horrendous.

Hehe. At first, I was surprised that you knew some Japanese, but then remembered you are practically a "stone toss" away from the "Land of the Rising Sun."

This is most definitely my best handwriting of all the "countless" pages of practice that litter my floor, if I do say so myself. どうも!

haha Yup! I'm on my fifth year taking Japanese!

Actually, I always thought I could paddle out to Japan when I was little... ^^ hehe

And it's looking really good too! Keep it up!
Did you teach yourself?

Awesome!
Yeah, I am self-teaching; have only been studying for a few months. But do intend on taking some proper classes. Thanks for the compliment. Good to know that my writing is somewhat legible.
