That is awesome.
Alone the dark, deep colour is fantastic and just struck me.
I didn't notice that it's grainy. Something else I thought like, is the ange/ view, concentrating on the clouds and their colour, rather than the lightning. Neat idea.

Yeah, since lightning always seems to attract so much attention, I thought it would even out the contrasts more if there were less directed focus on the actuall lightning and more attention on it's complementing surroundings.
