Description
I was in a terrible accident last year. My wife and I were riding bikes when a car came at us and took me out. She dodged it thank goodness. I took a bunch of damage to my right leg and lost lots of blood. Lots of surgery followed. The last 13 months have been consumed by physical therapy so now I can stand again, bend my leg and even walk. My wife and I used to run marathons and stuff, now I can barely run a mile but even that's like a miracle. Still have a long way to go but it's amazing what you can come back from.I got my hands on some sweet Mike Norris Damascus and made this thing during the earlier stages of my recovery. I'm calling it The Phoenix.

Wonderful work. It's unfortunate that terrible things like that happen for no real reason. The same exact thing happened to my aunt back in the fall.

I'm so sorry to hear about your Aunt's accident. Β I really hope that she's mending up well and is managing to stay in good spirits despite the awful luck of getting wrecked. Β Sometimes bad things happen, it's pretty amazing what people can come back from though.
Take care out there.
All the best.

Thanks. She is well on the road to recovery, but the whole ordeal is not good anyways. Being set back and loosing all that time and health (and medical expenses) just sucks. Indeed people can come back from amazing things though; Sounds like you did too. All that counts is that both you and my Aunt survived going through it and came out alright in the end.Β

You said it. Β I wish you guys all the best, something like that can effect the whole family. Β Hang in there and I hope she's able to stay positive, which I think helped me a lot in my own situation.
Take care.

Thanks! I actually had to remake that part because of a mistake I made with part of the spring, but when I made the new part I added that little flourish. Blessing is disguise!
Thanks for your input&support!
