I frequently get questions from people asking things like “Where is the Dívčí Národ?” or “Where are the Dívčí Národ islands?”, as well as other questions based on the assumption that the Dívčí Národ are inhabitants of a single geographic country or group of islands, like “What would happen if an outsider boat shipwrecked in the Dívčí Národ islands?” I'm not really sure how so many people got the idea that the Dívčí Národ is some sort of hidden chain of islands or lost continent or something, but let me officially state that the Dívčí Národ have never been an island nation, and has not been a geographic nation with official lands in hundreds of years. In classical times, they held a frequently-changing amount of territory in the central Eurasian steppe, as well as colonies in Greece and northern Africa, but during the Slavic migration period they followed certain other Scythio-Sarmatian tribes west to settle in various regions of eastern Europe.

At that point, the center of the Dívčí Národ world became a region in Bohemia. I should emphasize that even in the periods where the Dívčí Národ held their own lands and maintained political interactions with other nations, they always had a somewhat decentralized culture with many settlements separated from the main center of their culture by stretches of outsider nations. In the early medieval period, this meant they had settlements spread throughout most of eastern and southeastern Europe.

While in the classical period through most of medieval times the Dívčí Národ did have official relations with outsider nations, not just declarations of war, but also peace treaties and trade agreements, but in the early 1400s, the rise in use of firearms led to several Dívčí Národ cities being sacked, including the capitol, as well as the traditional Dívčí Národ methods of warfare becoming more dangerous and less effective. The high priestess at the time, with the full support of most of the lesser government officials of the culture, responded by instituting to doctrine of secrecy, which mandates that from then on the Dívčí Národ would have no official holdings larger than individual towns, no official relations with outsiders whatsoever, and that every effort would be taken to erase their existence from outsider records and memory. Though they weren’t able to destroy all records from ancient Greece when they were called the amazons or certain accounts from Czech or Russian culture, they were able to discredit what couldn’t be erased enough that it became discounted as mythology and/or exaggerations within a few generations. Thus, in modern times, both the political and physical geography of the Dívčí Národ-verse is more-or-less identical to real life, and members of the Dívčí Národ are spread out in small enclaves across the globe, with the highest concentrations in Europe and the Americas, especially eastern and southeastern Europe. Enclaves typically take one of two forms: small towns and villages that are inhabited solely by members of the Dívčí Národ and their men and usually fairly isolated, or largely-Dívčí Národ neighborhoods in and around larger outsider cities. Both these forms of enclave typically exhibit a traditional Dívčí Národ form of architecture where much of the business and housing is hidden underground, and there are even underground passages to get from one building to another without going back up to the surface. This allows members of the Dívčí Národ to leave home or otherwise get around town with a full belly while avoiding the notice of any outsiders in the area.

TL;DR

So, yeah, the Dívčí Národ has never been an island nation or otherwise isolated by a body of water (at some points in their history, most or all of their holdings were land-locked!) and in modern times it's more like an all-female theocratic Illuminati with some hidden villages than a proper country.
