I think one of my favorite versions of "Red Riding Hood" was Tex Avery's "Red Hot Riding Hood".
The rendering of the fur on the wolf in this piece is a wow.

I don't know how you can do that with your regular deviantart page but you can definitely do that with the deviant portfolio.
To the right of the search bar on the main page there are icons such as 'shop' critiques' etc.- expand the one titled 'more' and you can find the portfolio option there. I'd recommend you set one up - it's free, really easy to use and looks proffessional.

I am so in love with the background I could run away with it and elope o_o. Also, the wolfy's fur and expression came out pretty fantastic ^_~

I'm glad you liked the background and wolf - I'm particularly pleased with how the big bad wolf turned out. Might have to revisit red riding hood sometime.
