Description This is Set'Rial, a silverwrought kobold ranger I recently started to play in a 3.5 Dungeons and Dragons game.
For those of you that don't know, "dragonwrought" kobolds are kobolds that seem to have some sort of dragon blood in them, making them 'half dragons' in a way.

Set’Rial was born to a clan of kobolds that followed a very, very old and very senile red dragon. He was born as a dragonwrought kobold, which was just as surprising to the rest of the clan as was the silver scales he had started to grow.
Because of his mysterious mixed heritage, Set’s childhood was not a pleasant one. He was picked on and bullied by the other kobolds, considering him a freak and making him an outsider.

During his time in his dungeon 'home', Set became dissatisfied with the other kobolds and their blind devotion to the old dragon; who would sometimes have them work on tasks that had no bearing or meaning. Set was loosing faith in his clan and the old dragon and finally he was at the point that he told them so, saying that ‘there was a greater dragon to serve’ somewhere else in the world.
This not only shocked the clan, but it angered them, and as punishment, he was exiled from the clan. Set had to leave in a hurry before he would be chased out of the dungeon home.

During his time on his own, he trained himself to survive in the wild, and eventually he had befriended an elven ranger who took him under his wing and trained him in the ways of the ranger.
After his training was completed, he started to travel the world and started to follow the road of the adventurer, hoping someday he would find the 'greater dragon' he could serve.

There are some parts of the coloring and the anatomy that bother me, but overall I'm rather happy with the final outcome. While the basic design was simple, the coloring turned out to be a bit tricky, mainly the scales, but I'm happy with the final look.

Photoshop 7.

I played a long long time with a dragonwrought kobold too but it was a Sorceress/Nightmare Spinner. Was a evil sided campaing on forgotten realms, in the region of cormyr. Started on 12th level and finished on 21. Tibur has the best character i ever interpreted at all xD

Awesome job on the coloring and textures, what kind of brushes did you use?

The brushes for Set are the basic Photoshop brushes, normal round soft-edged brushes and some of the scatter brushes for the texturing.
The background color was actually a brush from a set I got from Obsidian Dawn, the 'aurora set'.

Thank you very much!

I hope the elf was a decent folk, seeing most that my characters have met are not that... ahem forgiving.

The current party has a elf fighter, who is incredibly paranoid, but that might be the DM's play style effecting her.

Any new members to the party are treated with nigh hatred, her excuse is that they are new, how ever at the speed the party goes...

My current character Myrrdin, has only been with the party for 10 days, that lead up to 5'th level so far.

2e (Bastard sword +2 Spec) (5+/8+) 2d4...
Now esxcuse me, I ought to write my characters background after having him active for more then 6 months.

The elf in the story was nice, Set found him after his caravan was attacked, so the elf was nice enough to help teach him his trade.

They seem to be fun so far, but being a having the silver dragon in him also helps.
