Description
After long time I make decision about showing my speculative sci-fi sequence "The mysterious technology of ancient Central America" My primary decision sounds: I never showing this sequence on Internet. But many my friends persuaded me and I put some pieces of this sequence on my website. Now I seting some of this artwoks on DA. First of my new submit deviations is square painting named Lost Technology. I love old Mexican art, monuments and hieroglyps. This artwork was created by airbrush and acrylics on plaster-board with sizes 50x50cm. I use only two colors - black and white. My art-theory sounds: old Central-AmericaΒ΄s art shows strange, unknown technology, no sacred stylizations.Related content

Love the concept! I had done something like this earlier...but opposite perspective. The idea was mankind was wiped out but Artificial Intelligence found some ancient easter island heads in the ocean where India used to be. Code in the artist label is kinda fun: π: 0 β©: 0

Very nice. it caught my eye as something Giger-esque but looking at it closely it's completely different. That water/fog effect near the bottom is gorgeous.

Very good - it has a strong main motive that really attract the attention but also very much of small details that make it perfect!
Your technique is outstanding

Thank you for comment! Main motive is from Aztec Sun Calendar, but only the center face. I stylized it, naturally.

I love ancient central American designs, too and they do work well in sci-fi. I like the mixture of old materials with modern concepts.
I hope you submit more of these.

Great idea well executed. The plaster board adds a really nice texture to it.

Thanks for comment! But this plaster board is destined for building works - I must smooth it for airbrush work.

Very Giger-ish - but with its own style and personality.
I'm liking this very much.
