Wave upon wave of raiders rushed towards the trenches jumping and trampling over their dead and wounded. Not a single one cared about their own lives or their fellow tribesman their brains addled by the Blood Fog and mutations long ago. The sentries fired nonstop into the rushing mass a few had to replace their guns because the barrels have melted from the sheer volume of bullets fired. Sentry Volk fired his weapon into a crawling pile of spines and sinew that was getting too close for comfort when suddenly his ears began to ring and a bright flash blinded him for a moment. A raider had thrown a explosive at him knocking him from his post. Luckily his Bullet Dreg absorbed most of the blast but it was completely blown apart along with his gun. Raiders started to jump onto the trench now to claw and strike at any who was in it. Without hesitation Volk took out his combat knife and pistol ready to take as many raiders down with him,
