I tried the Halo 5 beta, it was pretty darn cool so far (Srsly, the SmartLink scoping with the LightRifle... Beautiful). Can't wait for the Campaign though! <3

I liked the beta a lot, and I'm very excited about the campaign. But the rumors about not playing with Chief the entire campaign worries me.

I only got to play a few games (Had to move places midway through, and I was without internet for a full week...) but I liked what I saw during the time I got to play. SmartLink, for all the people fretting about it on the Waypoint forums, didn't really feel all that bad.
Hmm I generally don't think much about rumors for the most part. A lot of 'em end up being incorrect or absolutely wrong, and we had a similar situation as this in Halo 2 didn't we? Part of the campaign was John the other part Thel? I don't think it will be too bad, but time will tell. I was honestly more worried when the lead writer got the effective range of the Halo Installations incorrect (By a huge amount; unless he meant to say "minimum range"...) and when the Spirit of Fire was shown with its cryobay all empty. But yeah, we'll see when it arrives I guess - might actually be enjoyable?

That was strange indeed. But I'm m liking the way the story is going. I liked the focus on the humanity of Master Chief and I'm very curious to see why he went rogue. It will be a long waiting until Halo 5 coming out.

Yeah, it's awesome to see him evolving like that. I just hope they don't disregard the other characters in the process. Kilo-5Β - love it or hate it - already put some established characters on rocky ground, and if the preview text for a future Escalation chapter is to be taken at face value, Halsey's at risk of being turned into a stereotype mad scientist villain - but who can tell at this point?
Yah, there could be any number of reasons. The last time we saw him he's off doing missions with Blue Team again (Good times.) but a lot can happen between then and Halo 5. Any number of things could happen, maybe he's only "gone rogue" in ONI's eyes... *shrugs*Β We'll see when we ge tmore info, and maybe Escalation and Nightfall will give us some more hints (343's been doing a lot of subtle foreshadowing in the past)
And yeah... The wait x___x
