Wow, seeing this makes me wish it was in the movie! But then again, during this part of the movie, he doesnβt know yet. However, this doesnβt mean that it will not hurt her.

To be fair, this looks more of an alternative scene where he told Spark about his mother in front of Chuck and Vix before sending them away. At that point, they would have an argument which would then lead up to him saying to Vix, βYouβre not my mother!β At that point, it would be a huge slap to the face as a result for not telling him after thirteen years.
And yes, she would be scared because the risk of any possible planets of being destroyed was high now that the Kraken was captured.

Yes, it would hurt her a lot. To the point where sheβd be in tears and run away in guilt. Even though sheβs tough on him, Spark is still her friend.

Yep. Just her stubbornness to let him come along, Sparkβs stubbornness stems from not being able to help. In the end, itβs a βslap in the faceβ moment for Vix.
