Heheheh, thanks, and I bet you could get good at it once you've done it for a while. My first mug was just a recolor of Rutger... ugh, my old ones kinda make me sick.
References are also amazing when spriting. Hair can also be a lot easier than you think. Sometimes, harder x.x
Especially since I do it from scratch, usually.
Studying the shading on other mugshots is also a good thing to do.

Heck, if you'd want to watch me sprite Inigo, I can stream or something, though it might be a while. Finally finishing up on rigging a model that I've been working for around 9 o 10 hours, then testing it in the game it's for.
