My most recent image and last submission for the day, done only yesterday.An experiment to try and limit myself whilst practising with only tone.
I am mostly happy with it but I feel there may be something off with the face. let me know what you think anyway.

Looking good! Enjoying the rough brushwork a lot. Only thing that sticks out to me is the chains - they seem a bit too cheap considering how nicely hand-painted the rest looks.

Thanks for the feedback, I have tried adding some detail to the chains but it doesn't really show up.

Like the heavy shadows and the chain details. However the hand holding the bow seems a bit flat and the face seems to have an odd squinting expression.

Thank you! proper constructive criticism, going have a go at fixing it later! although I was really struggling with the face and have been just drawing faces since, I was perhaps too bothered by that I didn't notice how bad the hand looked.
