Yup! I beat the totem Pokémon with about 3 moves with my decidueye. It's was actually harder to defeat this guy than to defeat the actual totem Pokémon XD

It's like a boss Pokemon, I've never played any of the other Pokemon games. It's the Pokémon you have to defeat to move on in the story plot. I don't know if trials are in other games but each trial has the totem Pokemon. Maybe that explains it?
