I made a plaster mould over the clay sculpt, then tkae the clay out of the plaster mould, you can then pour latex into the mould to get out a mask.

Hard to gauge time , as i only do it around work and when i have free time ( which seems less and less )
The dreads are made from cold foam. it expands in the mould and self skins to give a nice light very flexible item, exactly like the films
