Description
I drew a headshot of this lady once before but if you don't remember, Maeve is Ember's previous partner. Their relationship lasted for almost 3 years before it ended due to Maeve's infidelity. Her betrayal left Ember broken and severely untrusting, prohibiting him from forming a romantic relationship with anyone for many many years. At a critical point during the war, Maeve was speculated to have perished in a bombing, but her whereabouts remained unknown and her remains were never found. Ember never searched or discovered whether she had survived.

Maeve is a very minor character with a small yet powerful role, being that she helps define Ember's character for most of the story and how he interacts with other characters after her betrayal. Maeve was created not for the intent of liking her character, but for appreciating how she has developed other characters around her and their relationships with each other, specifically Ember.
