Yeah i've heard that opinion many times
I do sketch a lot but don't submit many of the sketches here, because this site is very art/paintings/renderings-oriented more than industrial design-oriented.
On cardesignnews I submit more sketches than I do here

not to be an annoyance or anything, but you said pencil sketches, if its pencil, then why is it white, anyway lovely, btw, if you used a tablet, what tablet did you use and what program did you use to sketch this with? as well as your actual coloring process.

Dude are you already working for the new Mercedes Classic Center or some'n??? Are you holding out on us???
Like for real, everyone take a look at the Automobile Magazine homepage [link] upper left hand corner or look at the front cover of the August 2006 Automobile Magazine. Your concept for the new Gullwing looks almost identical to the concept recently released by Mercedes.
I hope you don't take this the wrong way, I'm not tryna say that you are knocking design ideas from Mercedes and passing them off as your own. I was just stunned by the resemblance between your design concept and the actual product that Mercedes is considering.

What you see there is nothing but a compter generated image made by a guy caled Huckfeldt working for the German car mag Autobild. t's not a concept released by Mercedes. Huckfeldt did it also to give a possible design of the new gullwing. And since the original car from which we both took the insperation for our design is te same, it's natural that there some similarities

Right, I meant no offense by the comment, I'm sure being that the original inspiration is the same, there ought to be some similarities of the concept. I hope you didn't think that I was tryna knock your ideas or some'n, cuz honestly I know you got skillz, and I think the world of your work.
On that note, do you mind giving my deviation a once over and your personal critique. It is design for a small single seat roadster, done using your tutorials....I'd really appreciate your opinion.

Some of these sketches seem truer to the fundamental form of the Gullwing without making it too overtly retro (retro, it seems, is a negative thing for this concept.). You've also got some great aggressive front fascia designs, though the one on the top-left seems eerily Z8ish.
