Lizzie was brushing Tyke ready for his class that would be starting at 9.30am. She used a 'magic brush' as they'd called it back home, to get the dust out of his coat so that he would be nice and clean, even shiny, for his class. Once she was done, she led Tyke out of the stall he was in, tying him in the aisleway.

"Time to oil your hooves." Lizzie smiled, patting his shoulder and then kneeling down with the hoof oil, brushing it on slowly and evenly. She stood up, putting the hoof oil away in his grooming kit. She changed his regular stable headcollar for his leather show headcollar and left the stable, walking him cautiously.

It was 9.29AM when Lizzie Led tyke into the round arena at Ash Grove Equestrian Centre and had him stand ready to be judged; she'd decided she wanted a little more time away from home so had entered Tyke into a show in the halter class. Sure, it was just one class, but she was still trying to figure out what to do about her situation at home with Harrison.

"Alright Tyke this is your first outing... Let's make it count!"

She looked at Tyke's back legs and realised he had relaxed a hoof and anxiously, she thought about if it would affect their score.
"No, it can't affect the score, surely." She told herself, quietly so as not to be heard.
Lizzie took in a deep breath and time seemed to slow down. Her heart was beating hard inside her chest which almost took her breath away.

She watched as the judge walked around Tyke, seeming pleased with his overall appearance and she lifted her hand, half expecting tyke to lift his head, but he didn't. He stayed as he was, relaxed.
' Alright boy, I get it. ' Lizzie thought to herself. ' Let's just see how we do. '
