My favorite part of this is the layout, the placement of the cabs. So many maillers with good technical skills lack an eye for design. You my friend, have both, and this piece is a great example of it.
If I may ask, how does it wear? I'm especially interested in the spiral connectors, I've never had much success in applying them en masse on a large wearable piece. Too much odd bunching.

Thank you sir!
I need to find that out myself, as so far only my mannequin has worn it. I find that with spiral, I need to 'untwist' it one twist or so, and the bunching isn't as prevalent. If you can get away with it, that is!
I make spiral necklaces from 20Ga 1/8 and if I twist the necklace good and tight, then close it, it seems to twist on itself when hanging. If I untwist it a few turns, where it still is spiralled but not tight, that bunching goes away.
Hope that helped!

This piece was one of the major inspirations for me learning to do cabochon wraps when I saw it back on the ring lord forums. It's absolutely gorgeous.

That's more my speed! ^_^ Very nice - And the cabs will keep the spirals from unspiraling (technical term, that one); Clever!
