Description From the Twins trilogy by Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman. A part of the Dragonlance series.

Raistlin must enter the portal and defeat Takhisis, the Queen of Darkness, in order to become a god. The two people in front are Raistlin's brother Caramon and Crysania, a priestess for the good god, Paladine. The five-headed dragon is Takhisis in one of her many forms.

Done with a layout pencil, pastels and colored pencils for some of the finer details.

Thanks. I haven't read the Dragonlance novels recently but I'm sure I will get around to it soon. I'm a big re-reader. I usually cycle through all of my fantasy novels once every couple of years.

This was such a good book. What am I saying, ALL DragonLance books are good books. Although I wasn't entirely pleased with the end of Dragons of Summer Flame.

Yeah, there was way too much character death; at least it was done tastefully. I haven't gotten a chance to read any of the newer Dragonlance series; I might look into it.

The characters dying didn't bother me. What did though, was the loss of all magic. I thought that was pretty lame. The age of Mortals. more like, the Age of boredom. Still it was an incredible book. I haven't read any of the books after that one either.

I forgot about the loss of magic. All new gods. It does change the dynamic and I didn't like the change. I probably won't read any of the other books, either.

Wow, love the dragons, particularly the red and blue ones.

Good eyes. Looking back at the picture, I realize that the blue dragon head is sort of squished up in the corner. Those dragon heads in the background were difficult but worth the effort.

Thank you. I wasn't expecting such a quick response because the dragonlance genre doesn't seem to be that popular.
