I was out on a short fishing trip on July 4, 2009 and we were in Lower New York Bay. I got to see all of the New York fireworks but what was truly spectacular was the sunset. The cloud formations and colors were just magnificent. The Verrazano-Narrows Bridge is in the foreground along with a partial skyline of New York.Related content

Ah, I wasn't able to get any pictures of the fireworks; they were too small for my camera to make out. The views of the bridge and sky more than made up for it.

Hmm...I haven't painted anything in a long while. I don't even have any of the materials. All of the large-scale paintings I've ever done were when I took art in high school.

Oh wow...lol, I'm not a good painter, but I have acrylics up to my eyes
